The Bank of England moved yesterday to buy government bonds in order to stem a market rout. In response, major Indices rallied on Wednesday.
Despite less-than-encouraging inflation figures, European Indices rose yesterday. Recent Ukrainian advances may have contributed to improved market mood.
Last week’s trading results were less than impressive for some key European Indices. However, traders on Monday seemed to have shaken off some of their jitters, pushing three major markets upward by the ring of the closing bell.
